Wood Car Derby – Car Cut-Out Night: Feb 9th

The 4th Annual Running of the Wilkinson Wood Car Derby will be held on February 23rd. To help those who do not have access to power tools get in on the action, we’re hosting a car cut-out night at the Toronto Tool Library on Friday, February 9th.

How it works:

• Register for the Wood Car Derby and get your car kit January 23, 25, or 31.
• Sign up for car cut-out night using the online form and indicate your preferred time slot – We will do our best to accommodate your first choice.
• Templates for four classic shapes will be available for your derby car. Preview them here:
  • The Atomic Wedgie; The Semi Truck; The Red Racer or The Cyclone
• Cut out your car on Friday, February 9th and then bring it home to decorate.

This is a “Pay What You Can” event (suggested donation $10).

Please note, the event will be supervised by a youth program leader at the tool library, but children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
