JUMP ROPE FOR HEART

Well here’s your chance to do just that!
PLEASE NOTE: The last day to fundraise for our school HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO SUNDAY, JUNE 9TH.
Wilkinson students in Grades 1 to 6 will participate in Jump Rope For Heart during HPE class in order to raise money for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Students will skip in the gym or outside if the weather is nice, from Tuesday June 5th through to Thursday, June 7th.
Designed for students in elementary school, Jump Rope for Heart helps: motivate kids to get active, reinforce healthy habits, teach the importance of social responsibility, and empower kids to make a difference by supporting a good cause. Jump Rope for Heart donations fund critical research that’s saving lives, preventing heart disease and stroke, and supporting survivors and their families.
You can help by collecting donations online! Click here to access the Wilkinson fundraising page. Choose “Join School” and answer the questions that follow to set up a fundraising page that you can use to collect donations.
If you have trouble with the link, you can go to www.jumpropeforheart.ca, choose “Join Your School” or “Donate” and then under “Donate To A School” type “Wilkinson” in the search box. When Wilkinson Junior Public School appears below, choose “View”.
**While students in Kindergarten may not be formally participating in the program, families can use the link above to donate in support of the school.
School Goal: $5,000
Wilkinson has been one of the top 10 fundraisers in the city before and we can do it again!
