Our Fun Fair is a huge success because of the support and generosity of our community!
This year’s Fun Fair is on Saturday, May 12th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Information packages were sent home with students. If you didn’t receive one, you may pick one up in the office or visit the links on our Fun Fair page.
Thanks to your generous support, our Buck-a-Book and Media tables have something for everyone, but we’re still in need of some more items for our Dream Baskets, Loonieland (new or gently used games and household treasures) and Cake Walk.
Our Dream Baskets are always popular, but in order to make them successful, we’re looking for more items to fill the following baskets:
– Dog Days of Summer
– Beanie Boo Bonanza
– You’ve Been Slimed
– Chopped Canada
– The Way To Grade 7
Please refer to the following basket themes for inspiration. The last day to drop off donations is Friday, May 11 between 8:00 and 9:15 am in the front hall of the school.
If you’re able to contribute a whole cake for the Cake Walk, please send us a note. We’d be truly grateful! If you’d like to bake for the Bake Sale or Cake Walk contributions on the day of are more than welcome! Please bring your baked goods to the basement lunch room by 10:45am on the day of Fun Fair and please indicate if they are nut-free, vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free or halal.
We’re in urgent need of volunteers for the following activities:
- Wil-Kitchen: Thursday, May 10th (5:00 – 8:00 pm)
- Set Up: Friday, May 11th (4:00 – 6:30 pm)
- Set Up: Saturday, May 12th (9:30 am)
- Event Activities (Two shifts: 10:45-1:00 and 12:45-3:00)
- Clean Up: Saturday, May 12th (3:00 – 5:00 pm)
Please sign up using the volunteer registration form and don’t forget that high school students can have fun while collecting their required community involvement hours.
