Get Ready for the Wilky Move & Groove: May 16-20!
Our Student Council has been working hard to plan this week-long fundraiser promoting physical fitness and mental health.
As part of the physical education and dance curricula, the Move & Groove is a fun way for students to express themselves through creative movement, music, and games while supporting Wilkinson! Students will participate during gym class.
Please consider sponsoring your child’s participation by making a donation to the school. All funds raised will go towards next year’s programs and initiatives such as books for the Forest of Reading program, field trip subsidies, ukulele, environmental education, and arts performances. COVID has greatly impacted our ability to afford next year’s programming as we were unable to run fundraisers until now. Luckily, our savings have carried us this far, but we’re effectively starting from zero going forward. We sincerely appreciate all contributions.
How do I sponsor my child?
1. Online through the SchoolCash Online portal. Donations can be made via credit card or e-Cheque*. In the Gift Information section, select: School = “Wilkinson PS” and Initiative = “GENERAL”. And please type “Move & Groove” in the message field (instructions with screenshots can be found here). Please make sure to choose our school from the list otherwise the donation will go to the TDSB and not specifically to us. Online donations of any amount are eligible for a tax receipt, and friends and family are welcome to contribute as well (they can choose Guest Checkout).
*With e-Cheque, you enter account information from a paper cheque, and the money is withdrawn like using a paper cheque or an e-transfer
2. Via Cash or cheque. Please fill out this form and include it with your donation in an envelope marked “Wilkinson School”. Envelopes can be given to your child’s teacher. Cheque donations of $25 or more are eligible for a tax receipt.
