We are looking for your help with donations of popular bake sale items such as cupcakes, brownies, cookies, muffins, or any other sweet or savoury treat that is easy to sell for $1 to $2 per piece. We now have parent volunteers to help out, thank you!

Food items can be homemade or store-bought but must be NUT-FREE and contain no nut products. They should be cut/portioned into individual servings but do not have to be individually wrapped. Please fill in this form if you are able to make a donation! We need to know the ingredients of all homemade items so that staff & students know what is safe for each student’s needs (allergies, religious, dietary). If you send your food in a container that you’d like returned to you, please mark it with your child’s name and room number.

**If you’re donating more than one kind of item please fill in the ingredient details for each one separately. **

Please consider reviewing the Halal ingredient list to figure out if the item you are donating is Halal, or look for ways to make it Halal as we must be able to include all of our students.

If you’re participating, please send your child/ children to school with a few dollars. Items will range from about $1 to $2 each. If you do not want your child to eat a treat, you can still send $1 or $2 for a monetary donation. We also hope to have some non-food items (e.g. pencils) available.

Grade 1-6 students will be going outside in classes to choose their own treat from the table. In keeping with our status as a Platinum Eco School, students are asked to bring a reusable container to school to hold their purchases.

Kindergarten students who wish to participate will be given a packaged snack (that aligns with their allergy/religious/ dietary needs) when it is their class turn in the kindergarten yard in the morning.

Many of our students have been concerned by the news they are hearing about Ukraine – and this bake sale comes from a request by our junior students to do a bake sale so that they can raise money to help. The proceeds will go to UNICEF in support of Ukraine.
