The average item costs between $0.50 and $2.00.
In keeping with our status as a Platinum Eco School, students are asked to bring a reusable container to school to hold their tasty treats.
All proceeds go directly towards funding school initiatives such as Scientists in School and Moving EDGEucation.
We’re looking for volunteers to roll up their sleeves and help out:
Donate Your Time
Can you help at the Bake Sale on Feb.14 between 8:45 am and 11:30 am? If you can volunteer for all or part of this window, please let us know. Any time you can spare is huge help!
Donate Your Baked Goods
If you’re able to bake for the sale, please bring your items by 9:00 am on Feb.14 to the lunchroom (check-in with the volunteers inside the school’s main doors first). Please be mindful that baked goods should not contain nuts or nut products and please mark if items are Halal* or if they satisfy other dietary requirements. If you plan on donating baked goods, please let us know as it helps with organizing the event.
If you’d like your containers returned to you, please mark them with your child’s name and room number.
*Note: Halal food items should not contain gelatin, lard or artificial vanilla. Lecithin should be of vegetarian variety, such as soya lecithin. Both butter and margarine are Halal.
The lunchroom is located in the basement towards the north side of the school.
