Gear up for the 6th annual running of the Wilkinson Wood Car Derby!

Registration: 5:00 – 6:00 pm
Race: 6:00 – 9:00 pm
We hope you’re well on your way to creating some amazing race cars!
Racers: To avoid disqualification, please ensure your derby cars adhere to the race rules. Whoever raises the most funds for their car will win the grand prize – Four tickets to a Toronto Raptors game! We also have two Raptors prize packs thanks to a generous donation from MLSE. If you’ve misplaced your pledge form or you need a second one, download it here. Funds raised go towards supporting Wilkinson programs and initiatives like arts programming, field trip subsidies and garden education.
At the Derby, students will be split into two classes (grades JK-2 and 3-6). JK-Grade 2 students race first, followed by Grades 3-6. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place racers in each class, as well as ‘Most Creative’ and ‘Best of Show’ cars.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase. For safety’s sake, all children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event.
