The Wilkinson School Community Council is dedicated to making each child’s experience at Wilkinson as meaningful and rewarding as possible by encouraging parental and community participation and by providing input into school activities, policy development and programs. We organize community-building events and fundraisers, keep Wilkinson families informed, and work with the school’s active and involved team of staff to provide extra hands at school events and bring special programming and resources into the school.
All parents and guardians are always welcome to attend Council meetings, but if you’d like to be a Council member (with voting rights), please complete this form and return it via email by Thursday, September 29, 2022. If you are unable to submit it via email, please call the school office to provide your information (416‐393‐9575). Council membership is open to all parents and guardians of Wilkinson students. More information about the process and the Council can be found on the nomination form and on our website. You can also attend our meetings to see what’s involved. Meeting dates and times are communicated via email and can be found on our website calendar. Our first meeting is on Monday, September 19th.
Looking for a different way to get involved? Volunteers literally make our events and activities possible. There are opportunities to suit every schedule, and we sincerely appreciate every contribution made. Our committees are always looking for new members, and many of them do not require Council membership. Committee descriptions can be found on our website, and more information will be sent via email shortly. Now that events are once again possible, we’re looking for extra hands to help out. Keep an eye out for event emails which will include calls for volunteers.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to send us a note.
