February is kindergarten registration month! Children can attend Junior Kindergarten in the calendar year that they turn four and Senior Kindergarten in the year that they turn five. Parents/guardians have the option of registering their child via online registration (OLR) (available February 4th at 9am) or in-person at Wilkinson PS. *Please note out of district students will not be able to access the online registration process.
Regardless of which process caregivers select, they will be required to visit the local school to submit required documentation. Our Junior Kindergarten registration week is February 18th to February 22nd, 2019. Please come to the main office between the hours of 9:15am to 11:15am and bring a copy of the following documentation:
- Proof of age – Birth certificate, Passport, Citizenship card etc.
- 2 Proofs of home residence – Lease, Deed, Government Documents, Utility Bill, etc.

Welcome to Kindergarten Night
Upon registration, you and your child are invited to a Welcome to Kindergarten evening which is planned for May 14, 2019 from 5:30pm – 6:30pm. You will meet some of the kindergarten staff, visit a kindergarten classroom and we will answer any questions you may have. This information will be posted on our website closer to the event.
The school and the Parent Council communicate regularly with families through our email newsletter and website.
