Lice Squad will be at the school on February 4th & 5th to provide our second round of lice checks for this school year. When dressing children for school on these days, please note that braids and ponytails need to be undone to check children’s heads.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our lice fund this year! If you’d still like to contribute, you can do so via e-transfer here.
If your child brings home a class letter about lice, it means that there is an active case of lice in that classroom. If you aren’t sure what to do, information about lice, doing proper checks at home, and prevention and treatment tips can be found in this document which is also on the Lice Check Fund page. There you’ll also find the results of our past lice checks.
If you do not wish to have your child take part in the screening, please contact the office at 416-393-9575.
Lice checks are coordinated by parent volunteers, and our team is shrinking at the end of this year. If you’d like to see this program continue next year and can lend a hand, please contact us.
