The Parent Council funded a Moving EDGEucation workshop organized by Wilkinson staff on September 18th. These workshops promote physical activity, develop physical literacy and movement competencies and practice personal skills, interpersonal skills, and critical and creative thinking skills while celebrating unity and individuality as a classroom community.
The program is set to fun and contemporary music and the activities use a wide variety of gross motor skills together with creative problem solving, decision making, personal expression and healthy peer interactions.
