Yay Pizza!
Registration for Term 2 Pizza Lunch will be open from now until midnight on Sunday, February 12.
Register online through SchoolCash Online. Instructions are below.
Pizza Lunch – available to students in Grades 1-6 – is a great way for children to enjoy a fun meal together while raising funds for the school. Registration for Term 2 is now open. Each lunch includes halal cheese pizza and a treat. Please see below for program guidelines.
Term 2 Pizza Lunch dates:
- Wednesday, February 22
- Wednesday, March 8
- Wednesday, May 3
- Wednesday, May 31
- Wednesday, June 14
Pizza package options (the total cost for all 5 lunches):
- Option #1: 1 pizza slice + 1 treat – $21
- Option #2: 2 pizza slices + 1 treat – $26
- Option #3: 3 pizza slices + 1 treat – $31
New this term: make a contribution for another student
When purchasing your pizza, you can choose to make an additional contribution to help cover the cost of Pizza Lunch for other students. Any funds collected beyond what’s needed for the Pizza Lunch program will be used to subsidize other student programs (e.g., field trips). Please let your child’s teacher know if you would like a subsidized pizza lunch to be provided for your child.
How do I register?
Registration and payment for Pizza Lunch are now online via SchoolCash Online! Simply login to your account. On the next screen, you will see a link to register under your child’s name. If you don’t, click on “Items” at the top of the screen. The system accepts payment via credit card or e-Cheque – a confirmation email will be sent to you. Please note that you will have to register each child separately. After adding one pizza package option to your cart, choose “Select More Items” to add the next child.
Don’t have your account set up yet? Follow this TDSB step-by-step document. If you’re unable to use SchoolCash Online, simply submit this form with cash or cheque payment to the school office by Sunday, February 12.
Program Guidelines:
Pizza Lunch is for students in Grades 1-6. On Pizza Lunch days, your child will receive their pizza and treat at lunchtime (they must bring their own water bottle or drink). The pizza is plain (halal) cheese. The treat is a nut-free cookie made by a local baker. Please note, money cannot be reimbursed to students who are absent or miss their Pizza Lunch. Also, students who do not follow Wilkinson’s Code of Conduct will not be allowed to participate in Pizza Lunch. Remember once you have made your purchase, it cannot be changed.
If you’d like to volunteer for Pizza Lunch, please email the Parent Council. Please note that due to a new TDSB policy, Wilkinson will conduct a police check for all regular school volunteers, including those for Pizza Lunch.

*Treats: Cookies will be made by a local baker who rarely uses nuts/peanuts in her kitchen and has strict protocols in place to help avoid any possible cross-contamination. If your child has a nut/peanut allergy and would like to participate in pizza lunch, but you would feel more comfortable with a packaged treat made in a nut/peanut-free facility, please let us know. We will always have some of these available at pizza lunch :)
