Kindergarten students will participate in an outdoor education program this year and use natural resources and outdoor space to explore, investigate, build, create and more. To set up an “outdoor classroom,” the school is looking for the following items:
- Milk crates
- Buckets
- Old pots, pans and metal mixing bowls
- Wood or metal spoons and kitchen implements
- Old car tires
- Scrap pieces of wood (2×4’s, 4×4’s, logs, tree stumps)
- Wooden cable reel
- Big cardboard boxes
- Pinecones
- Rocks (big and small)
- Large, exterior paint brushes
