The Wilkinson EcoTeam is made up of students in Grades 3-6 who meet once per week to plan and run various eco-initiatives, which both benefit the Earth and educate other students about ways to help the environment.
The EcoTeam has two initiatives running throughout the month of April: Plastic Bottle Cap Collection and Slices For Devices.
Plastic Bottle Cap Collection:
You can help by collecting your plastic bottle caps and depositing them in Madame Barbier’s mailbox in the school office by the end of April. The bottle caps will be used to create a mural for the school. Are you an artistic adult? We’d love your help with designing and creating the mural! Slices For Devices:
Bring in your old electronics to the school for safe recycling and help us earn free pizza for the school. A list of acceptable electronics can be found on the EcoSchools page of our website.
